Provision of a 15,000 barrel per day, two-train single lift deck for installation on the FPSO for Petrobras’ Siri field.
Expro’s solution
Expro Production Systems designed, engineered and supplied the complete deck module measuring 40m x 20m and weighing about 520,000kg.
Results
The equipment was staged in Holland, where the deck module was built and shipped out as a completed unit to the FPSO conversion yard in Poland before going to Brazil.
Technologies used
The process system included inlet heating, two stages of separation and electrostatic coalescers to achieve the export specification of one per cent BS&W for this heavy, viscous crude.
In addition, the water treatment system utilised hydrocyclones and gas flotation units to achieve the required discharge oil-in-water content of less than 20 ppm.
